Spring is here, 5 days until our website launch (and the Rugby World Cup) and 117 days until out foundation project sets off in January 2012!
This week kicked off with an intense presentation to Small Enterprise Development Agency an arm of the Dept. of Trade & Industry here inSouth Africa. The head of SEDA flew down fromPretoriato meet The EXPEDITION Project team in Cape Town’s CBD. The presentation was tough but it went really well, and we will certainly see the involvement of SEDA and DTI in the coming years! There focus is primarily on job creation and we would like to direct that one step further to the development of sustainable careers! At this presentation we were able to present a few samples of our merchandise made possible from Intelligent Marketing‘s ‘I Am Green’ division. Recycled paper for our prospectuses, organic clothing for our team t-shirts as well as a full range of eco products to come.
The rest of the week was preparing for another big week ahead. We managed to line up a presentation with Nedbank in Cape Townand the following week with SA Tourism in Sandton Johannesburg. Prospects looking good.
The anticipation is killing us as we wait to hear back from Billabong SA and their participation on our ‘COASTAL Project‘. It is a match made in South African heaven!
